Dear Family,
This week has been awesome. We were able to go to Shelton and see the baptism and confirmation of Emilie, Zach's Stepdaughter. She is eight years old and has been waiting for this for a long time. Also, this week, we had two investigators at church. It's been awesome.
We also have saw the first rain of the season yesterday night. I got to finally put my coat on again for the first time in several months!! Woot!!!
I got my new shoes, (thanks so much gma and gpa!!!!! ) to which I promptly broke in the first day I wore them, by playing soccer with a bunch of Spanish kids when we were out proselyting. Here's hoping they accept the gospel, because they were making Elder Garcia and I work!! I even hit a header, which was pretty cool.
Speaking of Soccer, for decomp every night, Garcia and I have taken to playing indoor football (much to the horror of our neighbors below I'm sure) and it gets pretty tense. We line up the goal posts with our gallons of crazy ionized water (there is a member in this branch that is sure to help us drink enough agua) and we use a little nerf ball that I stole from our last apartment.
I also recently found a preying mantis on our door a couple mornings ago. So I caught it and froze it, and will be getting around to sending it home soon. I hope you need a mantis, Bekah!
