Jennifer is still on date. Vlad we had to give up, because the YSA ward poached him! RATS. Jennifer, is officially started her five day streak yesterday. This is the hardest time for her yet. She has been through so much to get here, from struggling with members to a crazy work schedule and crazy experiences at work to getting the flu and almost getting shingles. She has been in and out of the hospital herself as she has been trying help those people at the medical organization where she works. But she's remained steady. And we've been praying for her every day and trying to send her texts with scriptural inspiration daily as well. But now is the most intense part. Her five day streak.
Five days to be clean of cigarettes. That's the mandate if she wants to be baptized this weekend. And its been a long road. She was only able to stay for the first hour of church. But afterwards she asked for a blessing, and in that blessing, I felt prompted to promise her that she would overcome smoking as she trusted in the Lord. And I don't doubt it. It will happen. And she has the faith sufficient. It truly is amazing to see the miracles occur in her life as the Lord provides a way for her.
And I guess that's my message to you all today. Through God, we can do all things. It is the promise of Him and the promise of His Son. And it is the promise of the Atonement. So if you are struggling. Don't you dare give up. Fjord on! Trust in His word, and trust in His timing. You truly can overcome anything in this life through him.
I love you all! Have a good week!!!
