Dear Family and Friends,
This week was great. I hope you guys had a good one too.
We were able to baptize Sadie, a 10 year old girl, who has been attending the ward with her family, and needed permission from her dad to be baptized. She was born into the church, but due to a difficult family situation, she wasn't able to be baptized until now.
The baptism was awesome, and there was a very sweet spirit there. Her uncle was able to perform the ordinance, and she was also able to receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. :)
Other things that happened this week:
Attended a priesthood meeting with the stake about family history work
Received a referral for a woman named Kathryn who is very interested in being baptized.
Had interviews with our mission president, who basically said that I was getting transferred.
Music standards have changed, so it would be great if someone could send me a Piano Guys Cd or two. And Mom, I need new shoes. My last pair is pretty much totally destroyed. I'm not too picky, a new color might be nice though.
Thanks for all you guys do to support us out here in the mission field. We are learning so much, and this is the greatest times of our lives. I don't regret a minute!
I love you all, and I know this church is true. Stay positive and remember God loves you!
Have a great week!
Love Elder Hakala
